Bernd Rohrmann   (Roman Research Road, Melbourne, Australia)
The German/Swiss poet Hermann Hesse wrote "Die Stadt" {The City} in 1910 - yet it was never published on its own.  In 1977 the
Austrian artist Walter Schmoegner created a new version of this story, hand-written by him and enriched with dozens of
paintings, published by Insel.  In 2003 I scanned the whole book and created viewpages for presentations.  Below is a selection.
